It was a slow hawk-watching day until Bobby brought a pigeon to Violet and Pip to eat. Each bird had a turn eating the pigeon.
In this video, Pip flies to the dinner table and meekly approaches Violet for a shot at some of the food. You could surmise that Pip was playing up her ‘baby’ position as a way to inspire Violet to beak-feed her (which she did).
