Rainy day Southeastern Central Park Hawks – August 15th, 2012

We had scattered rainstorms today in New York City. Luckily, my lunch break outing to Central Park was a relatively dry affair.

It began to rain so I went back to the office.

During a break I checked in on the Southeastern Hawks’ abandoned nest on the Crown Building. It was just a remnant of its former self:

My evening commute on the subway was pretty horrendous with delays and it began to rain heavily again so I missed my chance to visit Washington Square Park and see if I could find its residents Hawks.
