I only briefly saw one of the Plaza Red-tailed Hawks during lunch today.
It was seated on the north-facing side of The Plaza Hotel:
It saw something in the distance (maybe its mate?) and flew north:
I then went to check on The Pond’s Mallards and Wood Duck. I’m always glad to see the Wood Duck because there’s no telling how long he will stay:
I spotted the Great Blue Heron in a more secluded location:
What I hope is a benign mark on the bill:
It began to rain so I headed indoors.
