The photo below is from my Washington Square Park outing from the 5th:
It looks as though the Hawks have put a paper bag in the nest. There may be a couple of plastic bags too (as evidence by the white material on the left and right) but it’s harder to tell what that white stuff is.
Since the photo was taken 3 days ago, the paper may not be in the nest anymore but I wanted to show it to you anyway.
I saw a Hawk for a couple of seconds a couple of different times but never got a good shot of it.
I’ve been sick with a cold so apologies for not updating the blog until now. A fellow Hawk-watcher has seen both Hawks doing well the last few days.
