More snap traps, content park animals – November 13th, 2015

It was a very windy autumnal day today.

Washington Square Park was full of fallen leaves:

A fellow Hawk-watcher has seen both Hawks from time to time over the week but I didn’t get to see them today.

The remnants of what looks like a plastic bag is still in the nest:

I first noticed snap traps distributed around the park on October 31st. There were several new snap traps dotted around the park:

Workers were weatherizing the window by the Hawk nest:

You can see lots of plant matter being blown about due to the heavy gusts:

It may look fierce but these two buds were having a fun time playing and wrestling each other:
