Fledgling enjoys the church cross – July 8th, 2016

A fellow Hawk-watcher has seen the fledgling over the last few days flying around and regularly perching on the Judson Memorial Church cross.

The cross is a high perch overlooking the park so it makes sense the fledgling is using it to look over the domain but we find it endearing that he’s perching there since it’s the adult Hawks’ regular perch and somehow shows how grown up the fledgling is getting.

I’ll be back to Hawking soon!
