The Washington Square Park hatchling had its first feedings this morning.
I first captured feeding footage from the hawk nest cam around 6:30 this morning.
In the video you see mom and dad puff themselves up to make themselves appear larger to whoever was watching the nest from inside the office, and generally attend to the babe. The footage is a compilation of snippets over the course of several hours today.
Mom did all the feeding in the footage while dad caught the pigeons and stood guard at times.
