I spent an hour looking for the Washington Square Park Red-tailed Hawks but didn’t see any. I noticed a Hawk on the ConEd tower only after I got home:
I thought I had looked at the picture carefully enough while I was in the park considering I’ve made the same oversight in the past. Oops!
Even though I didn’t see any raptors in the park the pigeons were pretty panicky every now and then:
That red building in the background is the NYU library, the location of the Hawk nest.
