Red-tailed Hawk landing on nest, Bobst Library, NYU, New York City

Bobby on a break. The park is bursting with buds and blooms – April 26th, 2018

I was only in Washington Square Park for an hour and a half today but at least I got to see Bobby while he was on a break not far from the nest.

He was on a flag pole overlooking the eastern side of the park:


It was lucky timing because he left his perch after one minute then disappeared southward:


The park trees are starting to bloom:
