Well, I only saw one of the Washington Square Park Red-tailed Hawks today and for only 3 minutes but a brief sighting is better than none!
It was the male Hawk Juno. I first saw him circling just north of the park.
The arch pigeons in a panic as Juno flew past:
He landed on the southeast corner of the One Fifth Avenue apartment building:
He turned around, looked over the park, then dashed south of the park:
I searched for him (and his mate Sadie) but didn’t find either.
The remains of a snowman from a bit of snow we got on Saturday:
I was exiting the park when all of a sudden I spotted the pigeon I’ve nicknamed Dover.
He was sitting atop one of the lamp globes as he likes to do:

Yaaaaay! Dover !
