The Red-tailed Hawks of Washington Square Park, NYC… mostly
Bobby was watching over the nest from NYU’s Silver Center when I arrived at Washington Square Park this morning.
A crane was hoisting material to the roof most of the early part of the day but Bobby didn’t mind it.

I was in Washington Square Park for several hours today and saw lots of action but will only post the highlights I enjoyed.

It was still only cloudy when I approached Washington Square Park this morning. I was hoping to see some good Hawk action before the anticipated rain got too heavy.
I spotted a Hawk on NYU housing along West 3rd Street (a block south of the park):
