Release day for one fledgling Hawk, late night rescue of another – June 16th, 2019
One of the Washington Square Park Red-tailed Hawk fledglings was released back into the park by WINORR (Wildlife in Need of Rescue and Rehabilitation). The night ended with WINORR having to rescue one of his siblings!

A second Washington Square Park fledgling wound up near the sidewalk and was rescued and taken for an examination as a precaution but so far appears more stunned than injured.
