A recent heat wave broke and I got to see one of the Washington Square Hawks spend a while resting and preening on a regular NYU building perch today.

Bobby & Sadie north of Washington Square – August 25th, 2018
I watched the Washington Square Hawks Bobby and Sadie hanging out north of the park for about 2 1/2 hours today. Sadie perched while Bobby circled above and flew near her.
