Walking in Union Square Park today, I came upon an event called the International Lotus Lantern Parade. I’d never heard of it before but it was a nice event geared toward sharing Buddhist principles of world peace, forgiveness, and acceptance. I didn’t stay long but saw a lovely tea offering and other gentle rituals.

Building on Lafayette Street. I can’t remember exactly where but this building is near Lafayette and Bond. Enjoy it while you can because I think something new is going to get developed against this facade.
