As I meandered around Washington Square Park in search of the red-tailed hawks, I couldn’t help but remark how lovely the foliage was for such a small tract of urban land:
But my meditation was interrupted by the sight of Bobby flying West and landing on the Judson Memorial Church cross!
I rushed across the park square to get closer to his perch and get a better vantage point before he could fly away:
The waxing gibbous moon gets noticeably fuller each night:
Bobby entered the park to fetch dinner:
Success! He caught a small mouse from a bush and brought it to a branch to eat:
After flying from tree to tree, he flew away and toward his evening roost Northwest of Washington Square Park:
