I was fortunate to get to the park in time to see Bobby hunting then roosting tonight. He flew about from tree to tree every few minutes which made for some fun hawk-and-seek. Not long after the sun set, he flew to his nightly roost.
I last saw and photographed Bobby on the exact same two perches on the tree below on October 20th. It is such a treat to slowly learn the hawks’ favorite branches and to look toward them when searching the park for the hawks:
