It was another Hawkless day for me at Washington Square Park but not for lack of trying.
I took a few photos of other things to pass the time.
Underneath a One Fifth Avenue gargoyle (apartment building along the northern border of the park):

One of the local Peregrine Falcons routinely perches atop NYU housing along East 3rd Street and LaGuardia Place. I saw it in the distance and since it was the only raptor to be seen tonight, approached to get a few shots. Bobst Library is on the left:
I moved to see it from a better angle away from the trees but when I finally reached a clearing, it was gone.
