Red-tailed Hawk landing on nest, Bobst Library, NYU, New York City

Two petitions that seek to ban second generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs) in New York State

As a follow-up to my post last month about recent conservationists’ efforts to have the rodenticide that poses a grave danger for Red-tailed Hawks (among other wildlife) banned in New York, here are two petitions I hope you will sign to assist in these efforts:

Here is an excellent report and synopsis of this petition (it is a large pdf document but worth the read): http://earthjustice.org/sites/default/files/files/2014-7-28_NY_SGAR_Petition.pdf

The second petition is: http://www.care2.com/causes/new-yorks-getting-pushed-to-ban-poisons-that-are-killing-wildlife.html#ixzz393pvUEzo
