It is 8:30AM as I type the good news that a fellow Hawk-watcher just called me to report seeing Rosie sitting in a tree in the northwestern park tree.
This Hawk-watcher has been birding the Hawks for years so there is no doubt that Rosie was positively identified.
We hadn’t seen Rosie for weeks so seeing that she was well and accounted for is a relief.
I was delighted to see Bobby today atop the northeast corner of One Fifth Avenue today:
