Bobby has been seen fairly regularly over the last few days by a fellow Hawk-watcher during my break from Washington Square Park.
I saw him for a couple of seconds today when I was a few blocks from the park. He was gliding over Broadway and heading toward the park at the time.
I didn’t see him again but a friend spotted him roosting at nighttime.
A few flocks of geese traveled southward during my visit:
A Cooper’s Hawk entered the southeastern section of the park and dove at some pigeons but missed them before disappearing into the trees.
