One of the Tompkins Square Park Red-tailed Hawks was on a regular perch while I walked to Washington Square Park today:
Sadie was in the nest:
Bobby appeared 37 minutes after I had arrived:
He leapt off his perch 2 minutes later:
A mere two minutes makes all the difference when it comes to this Hawking business.
Another playful squirrel:
A fellow Hawk-watcher saw Bobby fly far northeast outside of the park. He had landed on a regular perch at 5th Avenue and 12th Street but disappeared from my friend before I could catch up to see him there.
I had errands to run so I was off for the day but it was nice to see the two Hawks doing well.
