The Red-tailed Hawks of Washington Square Park, NYC… mostly
There was a flock of Ravens flying by Washington Square Park today. I find them fascinating and wish there were more in the area to observe.
A fellow Hawk-watcher saw Sadie eating at a perch a block south of the park before I was able to arrive.
I found her atop One Fifth Avenue:

I saw Bobby and Sadie circling above Broadway for a few seconds right as I was leaving the park for the day. They quickly disappeared on me. That was alright though since I couldn’t stay longer anyway.

A juvenile Red-tailed Hawk was in Washington Square Park all day today.
I caught up with it in the early afternoon.
It flew from tree to tree then hunted for pigeon:
