I heard a series of terrible bird shrieks outside so I rushed to my window and saw one of my local Kestrels with a freshly-caught sparrow in its clutches on our fire escape.
During the video you can hear another sparrow ‘yell’ at the Kestrel.
Unfortunately the Kestrel was nervous by my presence so it flew away with its kill to eat it with more privacy.
