The Red-tailed Hawks of Washington Square Park, NYC… mostly
Today was chock full of raptor activity in Washington Square Park. I spent an hour and a half following Bobby and other raptors around.
I spotted Bobby on One Fifth Avenue as soon as I arrived:

My better half and I spent an hour in Washington Square Park but were seeing no Hawk action. There was plenty to see in the park nevertheless.

I had bad timing and didn’t get to see either Hawk during my Washington Square Park outing today (same as last visit). But I did get to see a nice Brown Creeper go from one tree to another for a few minutes during its spring migration through the park:
