Today’s visit to Washington Square Park was fun. I watched Sadie and Bobby work together to escort a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk out of the park before settling down for a rest.
Sadie:
Bobby:
Bobby screamed several times but I couldn’t tell what he was upset about at first:
He flew off his perch and seemed to dive into the trees but my view was obscured. I soon saw him up and circling above the park square:
The youngster:
Sadie returned to her building perch after all the excitement was over. She sunned and preened.
Bobby landed next to her a few minutes later:
The above action took place over the course of about 40 minutes.
