A fellow Hawk-watcher generously allowed for me to post this wonderful video of two of the Washington Square Park fledglings play-biting each other on July 4th. The two had been playing in this way for a few minutes before my friend started taking the footage. This action occurred before I arrived at the park for my own Hawking session. Today I learned hawks nuzzle. So cute!
I feel the same way. 🙂 They remind me of fox kits or bear cubs wrastlin’ as they do out in the wild.
At least they’re not biting each other’s toes like when they were small. 🙂
