Both Washington Square Park Hawks Bobby and Sadie briefly visited their nest. I had a surprise sighting of a Cooper’s Hawk in a rooftop garden tree.

A young Red-tailed Hawk was chased from Washington Square Park by one of the resident adult Hawks. A Cooper’s Hawk was permitted to spend time in the trees.

The Washington Square Park Hawks did well dealing with gusty winds and cold today. Other park birds enjoyed a puddle from recent rain.
