The Red-tailed Hawks of Washington Square Park, NYC… mostly
First stop today was the Southeastern corner of Central Park. The Plaza Male arrived at the Plaza Hotel from a couple of blocks west (along 59th Street).

Rosie relieved Bobby from incubation duty at 8:35AM today. She is on the left.
What I thought might be a pipping dimple on an egg yesterday may have just been coloration on the egg. Oops, lol. No matter; they are ‘due’ to hatch over the next seven days so the vigil continues!

I visited a number of Red-tailed Hawks’ territories today; Plaza Male’s, Pale Male and Octavia’s, and Rosie and Bobby’s.
Plaza Male was carrying a twig as he circled in front of The Plaza Hotel. Because I was trying to be careful not to take a misstep on the staircase I was on, I lost sight of him when I looked away and at the steps for a moment.
