The Red-tailed Hawks of Washington Square Park, NYC… mostly
I saw Rosie fly from the top of a West 4th Street building (diagonally across the street from the nest) south to West 3rd Street. She was sitting on top of one of the NYU Housing buildings that overlooks Sasaki Garden (mentioned at the end of my post from yesterday).

Bobby was sitting on one of his favorite Silver Center railing perches when I arrived at Washington Square Park today.

I had a brief lunchtime visit to WSP today to check on Bobby and Rosie Hawk. The rain storms we recently had have passed and we are lucky to be in a semi-cloudy but warm stretch of weather now.
I saw Bobby dive toward One Fifth Avenue as soon as I rounded the corner upon arriving.
He settled onto the northeast corner of the building.
