Autumn arrives at Washington Square Park – September 4th, 2017

I was delighted to see autumnal colors already at Washington Square Park this morning:

The views would have been a little nicer if I got to see some Hawks but I missed this morning’s Hawks by a couple of hours according to a fellow Hawk-watcher’s reports.

I searched for them north and east of the park for about an hour but was coming up empty so I went about my errands.

The ConEd tower looking grand in the distance (no Hawks up there):

My friend saw one of the Hawks a few hours later at the northern Cardozo Law building perch so it’s always good to hear when they’re around.
