The Red-tailed Hawks of Washington Square Park, NYC… mostly
It was cold and blustery in NYC today so Sadie Hawk had quite the time dealing with the gusts. But she was in fun form as she circled above the park square a few times. She screamed often as she circled rather low over the pigeon flock that was getting fed in the square and the park trees.

I spotted a Peregrine Falcon circling above the street one block south of Washington Square Park today:

Today’s visit to Washington Square Park was fun. I watched Sadie and Bobby work together to escort a juvenile Red-tailed Hawk out of the park before settling down for a rest.
