The fledgling Red-tailed Hawk that was rescued on June 16th and taken care of by WINORR (Wildlife in Need of Rescue and Rehabilitation) was released back into Washington Square Park today.

Both Sadie and Juno got chased by a Mockingbird as they were flying near where I last saw Sadie’s fledgling.

Juno, the new male Washington Square Park Red-tailed Hawk, chased a young Red-tailed Hawk away from the park territory. Sadie perched close by.
