The Washington Square Park Hawk fledglings are getting more acquainted with the neighborhood and becoming more independent. Bobby toted food for his youngsters later in my visit.

The Washington Square Park Hawk fledglings spent some time practicing hunting pigeons inside and outside the park today. The rest of the time was full of Hawk relaxation and preening.

A fellow Hawk-watcher filmed two of the Washington Square Park Hawk fledglings play-biting each other before I arrived at the park. The video shows the youngsters’ playful and chummy relationship.
